I am a practicing clinical psychologist and geropsychologist in Atlanta, Georgia (Sandy Springs). My commitment is to help my clients experience relief from their immediate problems, and to obtain a more meaningful and deeper understanding of themselves for longer-lasting change in concert with their life goals.
Services provided include, but are not limited to, crisis intervention, individual psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, education, and consultation.
Specialties include work with older adults, chronic illness, end of life, dementia, adults caring for loved ones (aka. Caregivers), sleep difficulty, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems.
Seeking mental health services is not always an easy decision, and the fit between client and therapist is vital to the success of therapy. I work from an interpersonal orientation, helping clients understand how patterns in living and relating with others impact their lives. I integrate cognitive-behavioral and meditative interventions to assist with symptom relief and more effective coping.
